Doorway

Friday 9.30am - 11.30am upstairs King's House
School term times only

Who is it for?

Doorway is open to all parents and carers of school-aged children.
(At present we do not have any crèche facilities)

What is Doorway?

Doorway is there to encourage you as an individual and you as a parent.  We aim to provide time and space for you to meet new people, have fun and laughter, share the highs and lows of raising children and be introduced to tools and new ideas so that you leave us feeling supported and nurtured.

What words do people use to describe us?
“Non-judgemental”, "Open", "Friendly"

What might we do?

As an independent group we aim to provide activities and information on the subjects you would like.  Past activities have included:

  • sibling rivalry
  • raising self-esteem
  • talking so your child will listen
  • saying no
  • tie dyeing
  • candle making
  • decoupage
  • healthy eating
  • film mornings

lots of chat and friendship accompanied by tea and coffee.

What does it cost?

Doorway is supported by King’s Church Mildenhall and all activities are provided free of charge.

Where do we meet?

Doorway meets upstairs at King’s House, in King’s Street, Mildenhall.  Our entrance is on the side of the King’s Project Building.

Do I need to book?

No, just come along to any of the sessions that interest you.
