Why Give?

We believe that everything we have is given by God and we are just looking after, or are stewards of, what God has given to us.  It is with this in mind that we encourage people who call KCM their home church to give regularly and generously in proportion to their income.  We are a self-financing church and it takes resources to fulfil all that God has called us to do so let's ask God what we can do to play our part in the work of KCM.

How much should I give?

How much you should give is a matter for prayerful consideration between yourself and God.  There will be times and seasons when you can give more of your time and less of your income to God and other times when the reverse will be true.  However it is important that we should give the first proportion of our income to God as an expression of putting God first in our lives, rather than giving God what we have left over and leaving God last in our lives.

How can I give to KCM?

If you have decided that you would like to give to the work of KCM, there are many ways that you can do this as listed below.

On Sundays
By cash or cheque using the offering boxes in the back of the sanctuary or in the coffee lounge.  Please make cheques payable to 'King's Church Mildenhall'.

By Standing Order

Some key information about the church...

Where & when does the church meet?
King's Church Mildenhall meets every Sunday at 10.30am for our Sunday Service.
Aim to arrive at least 10 minutes early to ensure you get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.

We meet at the church building in the middle of the town. The address is:

Market Street
Mildenhall
Suffolk
IP28 7EF

You can see a map on our contact us page

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be a time of singing with opportunity for church members to pray or read a passage from the bible. After prayers there will be a preach from one of the leaders sometimes with a chance to respond at the end of the service.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the service where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

What happens to the children at church?

We have a fantastic programme for the children at KCM for ages 0-16. Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the morning. Someone will announce when the children need to go to their programme. You will need to go with your children and register them.

For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you under church life.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!

You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
